It recently occurred to me that to explain further the basic tenets of Chappism, which form the basis of this forum and which I wholeheartedly support, I could do no better than to point towards the following two articles. One is by the co-founder of Chappism, Mr Gustav Temple; the other is by a friend and fellow "vintagista" who shares the same interests and outlook. Although they are now a few years old (nearly 20, in the case of the first piece!) they still hold true today and I really can add nothing to them, hence why I am happy to link to them below:
