Not, regrettably, the sort of rotating wardrobe that one might use to access one's dressing room (that remains a pipe dream, I fear) but nonetheless the still welcome task of placing the linens, light cottons etc. to the back of one's closet and bringing the cords, the moleskins and of course the tweeds to the forefront once again - in this case to withstand whatever Storm CiarĂ¡n can throw at us. I myself spent a happy half hour today getting my woollens out of the vacuum bag and back on the shelf in colour/ weight order - another satisfying job completed. Bring on the autumn, say I!

M'sock drawer has also just been on the receiving end of the autumnal switcheroo, with some splendid fairisle numbers - not to mention three very cosy pairs of the club socks - now ready to be worn!

Loving the socks, where do you purchase from? The striped socks I bought from Rydale, although alas they have sold out of the club colours. I can heartily recommend them though (very cosy!) and they still have another, slightly more, ahem, vivid colour available (of which I have just ordered a pack). The fairisles are manufactured by Scott-Nichol and I believe it was from here that I got them. I have yet to try the two pairs I purchased but will report back as soon as I have done so (probably when the weather demands it, although I also hope to premiere one pair at the NSC Christmas Party next month).
