Splendid news recently that cricket has been approved for inclusion in the 2028 Summer Olympics, to be held in Los Angeles - the first time it has been a part of the Olympics since 1900. Could this be the event that finally allows the noble sport to "break" America, show them the one true bat-and-ball game and launch cricket onto the world stage? I shall look forward to reading more on the progress of this over the coming years and its culmination of national cricket teams taking part in the event itself.
